Forget-me-not
Work-in-progress performance by ProEnglish Theatre of Ukraine
based on Olga Annenko’s play “Love-me-don’t-leave-me” and personal reminiscences of a French actress
“Forget-me-not” tells a story of Katya a Ukrainian refugee woman who works in a flower shop in La Rochelle, France. Through each flower she sells she remembers her family, her friends, her story in Ukraine. We live while we remember
At the same time it’s a story of how France sees Ukraine now. Through the eyes of a French artist who lives in Paris and visited Ukraine in 2022. We live while they remember.
