Alva’s journey with ProEnglish Theatre began as a Scenes Course student, but they quickly found themselves deeply immersed in the creative world here. One course led to another, and before they knew it, they were all in.
Since then, Alva has contributed as both an actor and director, participating in stage readings, performances, and bringing about their first full-scale performance Human Wrongs. Their work is driven by a powerful dedication to authenticity, queerness, and the exploration of personal experiences, pushing boundaries to bring new voices and perspectives into the light. Alva also directed one of the plays of Three Rooms performance.
Finally, they can proudly say, that getting kicked out of a university theatre group was just the beginning of their artistic rebellion!
